Ashley specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and employee incentive schemes. He regularly advises clients on other corporate and commercial matters such as corporate finance, joint ventures, intellectual property and shareholder issues.

Ashley acts for a broad range of clients across multiple industries including hospitality, cryptocurrency, SaaS and financial services.

Ashley combines his economics background with his legal expertise to deliver commercially practical advice for his clients.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of New South Wales as well as a Master in Law and Finance from Oxford University.

Prior to joining Kardos Scanlan in May 2024, Ashley worked at a boutique firm specialising in providing corporate and commercial legal services to technology and IP focused businesses.  Prior to that, Ashley lectured in microeconomics at UNSW.
